AICTE has stipulated that, Admission to PGDM Courses (15-18 month duration) be made only from the candidates qualified from any one of the six All India tests, i.e.; CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments for all Institutions other than Minority Institutions. However, in the current Covid times, AICTE as a facilitator has allowed the PGDM / MBA institutions, ( for AY 2020-21 only ) to admit the students on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination by preparing a merit list in a transparent manner. AICTE, in addition has made it clear that the first preference will be given to those candidates who have appeared in any of the entrance tests mentioned in the APH 2020-21 and qualified irrespective of their marks secured in degree as long as minimum marks as per APH 2020-21 are secured.
