The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) for Advocates, leading to the award of "Certificate of Practice", by the Bar Council of India. It serves as a minimum benchmark for professional practice. The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) was passed by the Legal Education Committee and the members of the Bar Council of India. The AIBE online registration started from 16th May 2020. However, the Last date is extended to 3rd December 2020. AICTE has stipulated that, Admission to PGDM Courses (15-18 month duration) be made only from the candidates qualified from any one of the six All India tests, i.e.; CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective State Governments for all Institutions other than Minority Institutions. However, in the current Covid times, AICTE as a facilitator has allowed the PGDM / MBA institutions, ( for AY 2020-21 only ) to admit the students on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination by preparing a merit list in a transparent manner. AICTE, in addition has made it clear that the first preference will be given to those candidates who have appeared in any of the entrance tests mentioned in the APH 2020-21 and qualified irrespective of their marks secured in degree as long as minimum marks as per APH 2020-21 are secured. The 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was scheduled to be held on 05-07-2020 (Sunday) in 112 cities all over the country is postponed. The said examination will now be held in 135 cities, on 31.01.2021 (SUNDAY). Furthermore the last date for corrections in the option of city from which the candidates want to appear in the CTET examination is also extended. The candidates can also opt for change of city, for their examination online from 17.11.2020 to 26.11.2020 upto 11.59 P.M.
